Your challenge, your charity. it’s your call!
Pick any registered children’s charity on Just Giving, that provides financial, physical or emotional support to children in the country that you want to help. The sponsorship funds that you raise will then go to that charity.
The target is to raise at least £100,000 across the various charities that you have picked.
how do the
charities benefit?
Fundraising
You simply choose a registered charity supporting children that’s meaningful to you, as long as it’s listed on the JustGiving platform.
Funds that YOU raise through sponsorship will be automatically distributed directly to the chosen charities via JustGiving.
When you set up your fundraising page, you just need to select your charity to make sure that all donations from your amazing supporters go directly to that cause.
Just Giving does not cover every country so if that applies to you, perhaps consider fundraising for one of the global children’s charities or do a local fundraising effort and keep us updated on what your raise. You can still participate in the Challenge through Results Base!
Registration, merchandising and corporate sponsorship funds
All unallocated funds raised, such as registration fees, merchandise sales, or corporate sponsorships, will be distributed based on everybody’s engagement. The “10 most popular” charities worldwide will be based on the highest volume of active participants (according to number of participants registered on Just Giving supporting a particular charity).
Once these charities have been identified at the end of the event, the actual fund sharing will be proportionally allocated based on the number of participants supporting those particular charities. This ensures that your engagement is driving the choice of charities to receive the funds and that it is manageable administratively.
If you do not have a local charity to support, perhaps select one of the charities featured on this page that a participant has already chosen.
